Didn’t he kill a giant in his youth and take away disgrace from the people, when he raised his hand with a stone shot from a sling and struck down the arrogant Goliath?
Did not he kill the giant, and take away reproach from his people?
When he was still a boy, he killed a giant to rescue his people. He put a stone in his sling, took aim, and put an end to Goliath's bragging.
As a youth he struck down the giant and wiped out the people’s disgrace; His hand let fly the slingstone that shattered the pride of Goliath.
While still a young boy he killed a giant and eradicated the shame of his people. By hurling a stone from his sling he put an end to the boastful arrogance of Goliath.
In his youth did he not kill a giant, and take away the people’s disgrace, when he whirled the stone in the sling and struck down the boasting Goliath?
